Chapter 9: Modify account attributes

CA IdentityMinder has the admin task called “Modify User’s Endpoint Accounts”. It is so interesting, we can modify account attributes directory without synchronization. This chapter will introduce the technique to implement the same thing that screen does. 

Figure 9-1 shows admin task Modify User’s Endpoint Accounts

                This chapter, you will learn how to:

§  Update account’s attribute directly

9.1 Requirement

We want screen for administrator to lock AD Account. We want only lock AD account, we do not want to lock user or other accounts. The requirements can be written as steps:

§  Step 1: Administrator entry employee number.

§  Step 2: Account in AD is locked.
